Black Tornado Weaving unfinished
The Tornado Weaving was created on a jacquard loom. The image is based on a photograph courtesy of storm chaser, Mike Hollingshead https://stormandsky.com. Sensors will activate different sound channels as the viewer moves around the piece. The tracks will include recordings of actual tornadoes, narratives of people describing their experience in tornadoes and news reports and tornado warnings. The weaving has been completed but sound component remains unfinished.
